Ruby Beach, Washington - 2016

Evening thunderstorms roll in off the open ocean as the tide moves in sending waves farther up the shore, refreshing tide pools and enveloping boulders covered in mussels and anemone. This rugged section of coastline and bordering dense rainforest is such a uniquely beautiful area to me. The quickly and constantly changing weather accentuates this beauty even further.
